To buy or not to buy?

I think I would like to buy this vinyl word art online. Tobin and I have prayed, separately and together, many times for God to develop our little baby to be healthy. Of course, it is His Will and we will love what we get, but we pray nonetheless! So, I found this scripture and it seems perfect! It would be about 18 inches wide and almost 2 feet tall. It works like a rub-on. I saved the image from the internet and made the background yellow and the text chocolate brown to get a better idea of what it would look like. The yellow is too strong and the font is not exact, but it is close! Anyway, the price is $30 with shipping and handling. What do you guys think????? Too expensive? I need opinions! It would go straight across from the door as you walk into the room, just to the right of his crib. I can't decide if that is a good price or not. Tobin acted like it was high, but I can't let that stop me, right? lol

  1. I don't know the prices of wall rub-ons to know if that is a good price or not. Can you buy sheets of alpahbet letters and create it yourself since it's all words?

  2. yikes...that's pretty tall!!! I would think you could cross stitch something similar in a banner to put over the door, that way you would be putting something personal into it...you are so creative, I'm surprised you'd settle for anything else!! I do really like what it says and think it would be appropriate to use...

  3. Hmmm...good ideas. I haven't cross-stitched in ages! I think I would be at or near the price of the online price if I were to buy the rub-ons myself. The reviews all say how easy these vinyl things are to put on. I may contact the art teacher at my school and see if she has any ideas or if she can do free hand lettering. I too nervous to do it myself, I think.

  4. I don't know where you are purchasing this, but know that I have purchased ones from eBay at resonable prices. There are sellers on eBay that will write a custom quote for you if they don't have this one already. Check it out.

  6. The quote is actually from an ebay store. I found the idea on ebay and then emailed her. The original phrase is 12x13", which seemed small, so I asked for it to be enlarged. Therefore, so was the price.

Currently, I am waiting for the art teacher at my school to reply to my email. I've got some time, but I have to keep reminding myself of that. I want it done NOW! haha
