This weekend has been much better overall. Tanner hasn't been quite so fussy in the evenings, or at least it doesn't go on and on for 5 hours straight. He also doesn't seem to be in so much pain. I am now on a first-name basis with the after-hours urgent care nurse. Beginning on Friday night, and after talking to nurse Shari, Tanner has had a few changes. She even left two sample 8oz cans of Enfamil AR at the desk for Tobin to pick up for free! Here are the updates:
- He went on Axid for possible acid reflux
- He began a routine of a 100% formula bottle at bedtime only
- The rest of his bottles are 50/50 AR and breast milk
- We started swaddling him overnight
It is difficult to say which is making the difference, but he is sleeping for 4.5 hours once he is put to bed for the night. He also goes back to sleep fairly easily and sleeps another 4.5 hours after his bottle. This has made a huge difference in Tobin and me!
Trevor, Sonja, and Hunter were in town this weekend to celebrate Hunter turning 6 years old. They finally got to meet baby Tanner also! Well, Hunter had seen him a couple of times already, but his parents had not! We took a family picture in the backyard at Grammie and Gumpa's.
Glad he is sleeping better. Hope you have a good first full week!!!
ReplyDeleteBig relief that he is feeling better, and that the whole family is sleeping more. Sooo important for so many reasons! Good pics. Is that the hungry caterpillar outfit on baby TJ??
ReplyDeleteI've started working on the blurb book but found it's taking me a lot of time because I want to put more pictures into the book and I'm not sure which ones I want to use. It seems like since there is so much text from my blogs, that its taking me awhile to work through my hundred and 50 posts to make it the way I want.
ReplyDeleteI will keep you posted of how it goes, but its still a work in progress.
Hol,
ReplyDeleteGREAT pics! Hope you are doing better...sounds like it! :-)
Glad Tanner is on a better schedule!
Talk to you soon.
