Kinsey's 9 mo well baby appointment was today. Can you believe it??? 9 months!! She is up to date on shots, so it was just the general Q&A and a check over. She didn't cry once and was a very good girl, fully cooperating with the nurse and doctor for the entire 30 minute visit! I was happy when the doctor said she had an adorable smile!Her stats are as follows:
She is in the 90th percentile on height (29 inches), 80th on head circumference (45 cm), and 60th on weight (19 lbs/10oz). She has actually slowed down on weight gain since she became mobile. She has 8 teeth and her soft spot on her head is all grown together now. The doctor considered her advanced on many developmental things and I attribute that to being around three older boys all day long! Kinsey mimicked the doctor when she made a clicking sound and clapped when the doctor clapped her hands. 
Like her brother, and just to entertain, she made a funny, toothy-grin and inhaled and exhaled through her nose really fast making silly faces. It was super cute! Since she is primarily breastfed, other than the 2-3 bottles of formula she gets at daycare with Amy, she was finger-pricked and found to be just slightly anemic. The doctor asked me go ahead and give her the Poly-Vi-Sol vitamins with iron, but in her food instead of a formula bottle. We just have to give it when we are sure she will eat the whole serving with the vitamins in it. She rarely eats a whole jar at home in the evening though!

Yay! Glad that she was such a good girl for that whole visit. That is a serious accomplishment. That makes total sense that she would be learning so much more than her peers, given that she has so many "small" teachers to learn from each day. Awesome!
