Mother's Day was wonderful. These aren't the best pictures, but they will have to do. Tanner and Tobin got me a turquoise ring, two hanging fuchsia baskets, and a card. We went to church and Tanner stayed with us in the sanctuary. Tobin's parents, Tobin, and I all took turns holding him. He was a little squirmy, but never loud and never once cried. He fell asleep on the way to lunch and proceeded to sleep all the way through a noisy buffet-style lunch. Luckily, we were in Tobin's truck and it has a carry-style car seat. Grammie watched Tanner while Tobin and I both took 2.5 hour naps. Then, it was on to more fun at my parents.
School is winding down and getting crazy all at the same time. I am SOOOO looking forward to not being there. Five more days!!!! I am just tired of this year for a variety of reasons.
I had a doctor's appt today and had to do the Glucola test. The blood draw didn't get to me this time. I'll find out in one week if I failed it, and in three weeks if I did well. I have one more blood-sugar test later on. This Thursday will be 25 weeks, so my OB wants to start seeing me every three weeks to keep a better eye on me this time. I have another high-risk dr. visit next week. All measurements, fluids, and heartbeat sounds are perfect so far.
(Cute picture of Tanner and one of his 1st cousins, Hunter.)

ReplyDeleteTanner looks like he is enjoying his cousin. Love, Mom
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely a mother! I can't believe all you are dealing with with your pregnancy and keeping your little one satisified at the same time. Happy Mother's Day Holly!
ReplyDeleteWow! Tanner is getting SO big!
ReplyDeleteThanks! He is feeling BIG when I lift him too!
ReplyDeleteTanya,
I'd love to sound like wonderwoman or supermom, but it is more like "stressed out, short-tempered, crazy lady."
I didn't even mention Science Club, Scrapbook Club, or working on the new nursery at home! UGH.
Good post, good pics! I put the one of you 3 on my desktop for the kids to enjoy!
