I wish. It seems that the Christmas Break is always filled with "stuff" to do! I really have this desire to run out and search for bargains and get some presents for next year at some killer price, but can't get motivated to spend any more money! How's that for a catch 22?I do have some pics to post from our different family gift exchanges, but not too many. I finally called the Sony helpline this morning since I was to the point of hating my CyberShot camera so much I was going to return it today. The guy walked me thru an initialization process that seemed to help, for now anyway. About 80% of my shots were blurry and I was VERY ticked out it! The pics themselves shouldn't mean so much, but they do.
Tobin and I went to one holiday party and
spent the majority of the time playing old school arcade games rather than visiting. We really didn't know anyone there other than the couple that invited us, which happens to be one of Tobin's best friends. We still had a great time and full turkey meal with all the fixins! They had 5 stand up arcade games with Galaga, Frogger, Dig Dug, PacMan and Mrs. Pacman.....on and on. No quarters needed! We also played this white elephant game and ended up with a ridiculous gift and a really cool one! Everyone was supposed to wrap and bring something from around the house..no money spent...something you didn't want anymore. Luckily the first item I picked was taken by someone after me that wanted it WAY more than I did. I ended up choosing again and got a brand new real marble cutting board that matches our tile in our kitchen! Hope everyone is enjoying their time off!
I hope you find some time to get some rest! Maybe with some rest you'll feel the urge to scrap again. I remember what it's like to not have that urge though. Once that baby arrives you'll be wishing you had though! :) I was up on the baby floor a lot last week since my sister had her hysterectomy. I thought of you when I saw all those precious babies!

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about relaxing!! My family is leaving town in the morning....kinda looking forward to quiet time again. I feel like all I've done the last few days is rush from place to place. Tomorrow is like Day #1 of vacation! I AM going to update my blog....I'll be sure to let you know when! :)

ReplyDeleteKodi, everytime I pick a new background, I have to re-add all the HTML stuff one thing at a time! Major P.I.A. (pain in the ***) Sometimes I just skip it for the sake of time.
We just ran over to Tobin's parents house to babysit Hunter for a couple hours. Now we are headed out to my parents to hang with the family on their last night here. We are both exhausted and I have felt like it was bedtime since about 5:30 this evening!
Unfotunately, I am starting to get a cough and drainage....UH OH....
Oh man, that stinks to have to add all that stuff over and over. I like to see the baby floating though. That's really cool! Won't be long until you start showing!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThat cough and drainage stuff just won't quit this year. Emmarie got it a few weeks ago. I had to take her to the doctor this past Friday. Another sinus infection. Then I got it...but I popped some antibiotics and it was over in a few days. I know you won't have that luxury though.
I hope you enjoyed your family tonight. Everyone is staying so busy that we'll all need to come back to work to recoop! :)
