all helped organize the food and invitations and such. Somehow, no one spilled the beans and I never found out. As you can see in my expression, I am simply flabbergasted and overwhelmed with surprise! That was the coolest thing and I'll never forget it.!I worked with 9 girls after school today for scrapbook club. There should be 12 more tomorrow for the same spread. I have never, in my life, thread so many needles and gotten so many knots out of DMC floss EVER!! I know, I know, just wait for tomorrow! I have also never hand cut so many felt ovals or poked so many holes (for the clouds and sun on my inchworm layout=147). Some of the kids decided they didn't want any grass on the bottom of the page, after sewing the clouds and sun. LOL! That used up the whole 1.5 hours and they left without any pics on the page. Maybe tomorrow will go well!
that's probably good that you split the girls up into 2 groups. can you imagine having all of them at the same time? i wanted to come down and peek last night, but those dang meetings of mine. i have one today too, oh, and friday! only 1 day this week without an after school meeting. UGGGGHHHHH! your new page is cool. i like the way you did the title.

thanks, kodi! i have a few touch up things to do on the page, but it was a quickie, like i mentioned.
ReplyDeletehollie, i was shocked and kinda startled when they all started yelling! of course, tobin smiled, he always smiles. we've been married for less than two years now. some people think we are still newlyweds due to how we act and how happy we are...others think we've been together for a much longer time. it's kinda neat!
Great LO. I like how the blue pulls out Tricia's shirt, good match! I also like the skinny cropped pics to the upper right, good usage! Are the "surprise" letters that foamy stuff? I also like how the exclamation mark is on a photo, draws the eye there. COOL!
ReplyDeletethanks mel! the letters were chipboard, painted. thanks for all the compliments! i'll have tobin call you after i get out of surgery or call his cell phone tomorrow. supposed to go in at 9:15..hour and a half surgery...hour in recovery...should be back awake around noon, i hope.
